Currently creating a new documentary celebrating queer art in Stockholm

Hyphen is on a mission to share queer stories and create a more welcoming and safe world for every queer individual. We are producing a documentary that showcases the talents of artists from around the world who have found their home in Stockholm.

Shot in the style of cinema verité, our goal is to let these artists express in their own words what it means to be queer, especially in a time when support is dwindling and, in many ways, under attack. This film is their contribution to a scene that is increasingly under threat, with gay bars closing and safe spaces disappearing. It is an exploration of our history, the challenges within our community, and the external threats that aim to erase us.

This film is a rallying cry to show the world that we have always been here, we are not going anywhere, and to inspire young queer individuals to stand tall and unafraid of who they are and whom they love.
